Who We Are
“Deb really listened to our needs for our kitchen & pantry. We can now much more easily see & access what we have. It turns out we had let a lot of food expire & go stale because we didn’t know it was there! In a few hours the whole space transformed and we’re now not wasting things.”

Hi, I’m Deb, the founder of Creating Space Pro. From a young age, I liked to organize my stuff. I organized my cassette tapes (remember those?!) by genre and then alphabetically within the genres. I did the same with my books and something similar with my clothes.
In addition to my natural inclination toward organizing, my mother’s death in 2017 catalyzed my interest in becoming a professional organizer. When my mother passed away I needed to empty and sell her house. Awash with grief and overwhelmed with how many things had to get done, I was a mess. A friend suggested I hire a professional to help. Sandy, the organizer, turned out to be a saving grace; I don’t know how I would have gotten through that intensely challenging time without her.
Like Sandy, I love helping people. I approach each project with compassion, patience, and without judgment; I have been privy to all kinds of situations.
I believe that getting more organized removes the physical and mental clutter that prevents us from fully enjoying life and functioning at our best.
When not helping people organize, I love being outside, practicing yoga, traveling, participating in the arts, and spending time with friends, family, and most definitely animals. I volunteer at the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center, SF Symphony, and am on the board of a contemporary ballet company, Amy Seiwert’s Imagery. I hold a B.A. in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Education from Harvard University, and am a member of NAPO (National Organization of Productivity & Organizing).
